Netflix brings Season Download button to Apple devices
Netflix has introduced a new feature to make binging favorite shows easier for iOS and iPadOS users.
The Season Download button is now available on the Netflix iPhone and iPad App, allowing users to easily download entire seasons for offline viewing.
To access the new feature, simply go to a show’s display page and tap on the Season Download button next to the Share option.
Once tapped, the entire season will automatically start downloading. Users can manage their downloads in the Downloads section under the My Netflix tab.
This feature is particularly useful for situations where internet connection is limited, such as during long plane or train rides.
The Netflix app requires an iPhone running iOS 17.0 or later, an iPad running iPadOS 17.0 or later, or an Apple TV. Android users have had access to this feature for some time.
In other news, Netflix has implemented a price increase for 2025 across all subscription plans. This follows efforts to eliminate user password sharing and increase subscriptions in 2023, but the impact of the price hike remains uncertain.
