The newest Apple Store in Australia is nestled within a historic Commonwealth Bank Building and is designed to offer unique features for local customers.
Apple’s extensive retail strategy remains robust with the opening of a new store in Perth, which has relocated from a previous site to occupy this notable heritage building.
Apple’s Senior Vice President of Retail and People, Deirdre O’Brien, expressed the company’s intention to enhance the shopping experience for local residents. They aimed to thoughtfully restore and highlight the unique characteristics of this historic location.
“Our goal in reopening this store is to provide the transformative benefits of Apple innovations to even more members of the community while enhancing a world-class shopping experience,” O’Brien stated. “Our team has meticulously restored essential heritage elements of the building, including marble tiles, ceilings, and plaster columns, to create an extraordinary shopping environment for customers.”
The Apple Perth City store will introduce several new offerings for the area, including an Apple Watch try-on and guided lesson section, as well as an Apple Pickup location.
As with all modern Apple Stores, customers can participate in numerous Today at Apple sessions where they can learn skills such as drawing on an iPad or improving their photography with an iPhone.
Apple Perth City officially opened its doors on June 27 at 9 a.m. local time.
