Apple is getting ready to release an updated version of iCloud’s terms and conditions.

The early iCloud Terms and Conditions notification in macOS has been sent out by Apple to some Mac users, four days before they are scheduled to take effect. Users are required to agree to the new Terms and Conditions in order to continue using iCloud. The notification, which appears earlier than expected, directs users to macOS Settings where the updated Terms and Conditions can be viewed. The document, last revised on September 16, 2024, contains changes from the previous version. One notable change is the replacement of “Apple ID” with “Apple Account” throughout the document. Additionally, a new term under the section “Content and Your Conduct” prohibits users from engaging in any activity that exploits, harms, or threatens children. Other prohibited activities include stalking, harassing others, and uploading unlawful or obscene material. The Terms and Conditions update can be accessed through a link provided in the notification, leading to Apple’s website.
