Apple Crocker Park is poised to be the next Apple Store to undergo relocation, although Apple has only confirmed that the current store is undergoing development.
Following the footsteps of stores like the UK’s Apple Trafford Center and the closure of Apple Northbrook in Chicago, another store is set to be redeveloped. Apple Crocker Park, located in the Westlake, Ohio shopping village, appears to be on the brink of relocation and potential expansion.
The website of Apple Crocker Park now features a headline that reads, “Get ready. Great things are in store. A brand-new Apple Store is coming soon.” However, there are no further details provided regarding what changes will be made to the store or when they will take place.
Unlike the Apple Trafford Center store, which displayed early closing times before relocation, Apple Crocker Park continues to operate with regular store hours. Originally opened in September 2008, the store has not been updated since and retains the brushed steel-and-glass style that Apple has been moving away from in its newer stores.
Situated between clothing retailer Buckle and mattress outlet Sleep Number, Apple Crocker Park is a small store. Additionally, a portion of its floor space is occupied by Canary Travel instead of Apple.
The Crocker Park shopping village is expanding with 11 new stores and restaurants reportedly on the way, including fashion and clothing outlets like Garage and Tradehome Shoes.
The owners of the shopping village have announced that the current home furnishings retailer Arhaus, located on the same Crocker Park Boulevard as Apple, will relocate and expand its space within the center. Given the small size of the current Apple Store and the popularity of the shopping village, along with the option to relocate, it is likely that Apple will move to larger or more prominent premises within Crocker Park.
Apple’s previously unveiled plans for store relocations in 2025 include locations like Perth, Australia, Wichita, Kansas, and three additional store relocations, one of which is expected to be Apple Crocker Park.
