Apple has released a new firmware update for AirPods 4, with a focus on bug fixes and improvements. This likely also includes updates for AirPods 2, although there are no official release notes available at this time.

Firmware updates for AirPods are automatically installed when the AirPods are placed in the charging case and connected to an iOS device. Manual installation methods are not available for this update.
