Apple Cash is currently experiencing an outage.
Apple Cash faced an outage on Wednesday, affecting some users’ ability to send and receive funds. Apple confirmed the issue through its System Status page, while other services like the iOS App Store and Apple Pay remained functional. The problem started at 10:01 a.m. Eastern Time and was resolved by 5:18 p.m. Eastern Time.
Users expressed frustration on social media over the Apple Cash outage, a popular payment service similar to CashApp and Venmo. Despite the issue, most users were still able to use Apple Cash during this time.
It is not uncommon for Apple to experience service disruptions. Similar incidents have occurred with Apple Wallet in December 2023 and Apple Cash in May of the same year.
