This week (June 23), Samsung announced that its summer Galaxy Unpacked event is set for July 9. The event will be held in Brooklyn, New York, after a three-year hiatus, with the city being described as a “borough known for bold ideas, creativity, and culture.” The event will commence at 10 a.m. ET.
For those unable to attend the in-person unveiling of its next foldables lineup, the summer Galaxy Unpacked will be live-streamed on Samsung’s website and YouTube channel.
The Korean OEM didn’t disclose much about what to expect from this year’s event; however, it confirmed that Galaxy AI will be central to the proceedings. “With AI leading the way, Galaxy devices are evolving from reactionary smartphones to anticipatory smart companions—transforming how we communicate, create, and connect,” stated Samsung.
We anticipate that the company’s next foldable and flip phones will take center stage, along with new smartwatches. Stay tuned!

Nothing has been dropping hints about its upcoming flagship Phone 3 as the launch approaches. The company recently took to X to confirm that the device will feature a 50MP periscope lens. Nothing stated that this camera is “built for creators,” and while the optical zoom capabilities remain undisclosed, the company shared several photos captured using that lens, showcasing the phone in its characteristic “Nothing” way.
However, while the London-based company has been teasing tidbits, a recent leak has practically unveiled the entire device. The leak implies that the Nothing Phone 3 will have three 50MP cameras, with a unique placement design—one camera is positioned off to the side, while the other two are adjacent at the bottom.
The phone is expected to feature a 6.7-inch OLED display and be available in black and white options. Regarding battery life, it is rumored to possess a significant 5,150mAh capacity, accompanied by a glyph matrix interface on the rear panel. The launch is set for July 1.

This week, chatter from an app developer, Sayed Ali Alkamel, surfaced, sharing screenshots of the Android XR glasses coupled with a companion app, which revealed the name “Google Martha.” Alongside the name, the app also showcased possible controls for the XR Glasses, including battery percentage and management options for notifications and user preferences. Furthermore, Google Martha appears to have a feature to enable or disable recording from the user’s viewpoint.

Google’s feature drop in June adds a boost of Gemini to the Workspace ecosystem. The latest AI video generation model is being integrated into Slides and Vids, while Gmail, Calendar, and other Workspace apps are receiving Gemini’s enhancements.
Veo 3 will now be able to generate high-quality video clips with realistic sound based on user prompts within Vids and Slides. For example, if you’re creating a DIY or training video and need a visual of someone wearing a specific item for safety training or demonstrating how to safely start a campfire, users can simply describe it, and Vids will produce it for you.
Google Slides will feature various pre-designed templates, while other Workspace apps like Gmail, Keep, Calendar, etc., will have Gemini integrated into their functions.
