Key Information
- The Galaxy Z Fold 7 appears in three colors based on a recent leak: blue, silver, and black.
- Samsung may be moving away from its traditional color options—those previously limited to black and silver may now be available more widely, rather than just on Samsung.com.
- Both foldables will introduce a new Green Mint color, but this will only be available through Samsung’s official store.
Excitement is building for Samsung’s Summer Unpacked event next month, which is expected to showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7. While there have been numerous leaks already, a fresh round of almost-official renders has recently provided a closer look at the forthcoming foldables, featuring the Fold 7 in three striking color options. Some of these shades resemble those once exclusive to Samsung.com.
Evan Blass has revealed exciting details on Substack regarding the color choices for the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. Three primary shades are anticipated to be available in the general market, although Samsung might retain a few exclusive options. While the colors are not drastically different from those of the Galaxy Z Fold 6, the distribution strategy certainly feels like a notable shift.
There’s an elegant blue that radiates luxury, a vibrant silver for those desiring a standout foldable, and a timeless black for those who prefer a classic aesthetic.
No Longer Exclusive?
Interestingly, last year’s Z Fold 6 was offered in sleek options like Crafted Black and white, but only through Samsung’s official store. Now, if these new Z Fold 7 renders represent the standard color lineup and not just future site-exclusive options, it seems Samsung is shifting its strategy. Those previous exclusive colors may have been subtly updated and are heading for a broader release.
The new leak supports Blass’s earlier revelation regarding the Z Fold 7’s color options, which were noted on Samsung’s Irish staging website. He previously identified Blue Shadow and Jet Black as confirmed colors, and it appears there’s a third option: Silver Shadow, as per the leaked pricing details.
It’s important to mention that while these early product pages validate the color selections, they contain a lot of placeholder information that has been reused from prior launches. Nonetheless, they make one thing evident: the key color choices appear finalized. Additionally, both the Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 will feature the exclusive Green Mint color, available through Samsung.com.
This wouldn’t be the first instance of Samsung reserving standout colors for its own store. The colors showcased thus far are appealing, but they don’t seem to break new ground.
