The most recent rumor about the iOS 19 redesign centers around a possible iMessage mockup.

A leak shared by Jon Prosser, known for past inaccurate leaks, showcases a supposed redesign of iMessage in iOS 19. The mockup features a new keyboard layout and circular buttons, but not much else is revealed. Prosser, looking to rebuild his reputation, is staking his credibility on predictions for the 2025 releases of iOS 19 and iPhone 17. The iMessage mockup was unveiled during a Genius Bar podcast, with Prosser teasing additional leaks of iOS 19 in the near future.

The screenshot appears to be a mockup rather than an actual screenshot, as Prosser’s render artists create new designs based on leaked information to protect their sources. Some elements of the mockup, such as the reflective ring around the FaceTime button and back button, suggest a 3D effect when the iPhone is tilted. However, the design deviates from Apple’s current interface, with inconsistencies in the keyboard layout and icon designs.

Prosser’s leaks have sparked curiosity and skepticism, with some similarities to Apple’s existing UI design seen in earlier leaks. While Prosser claims these mockups are based on genuine information, it remains to be seen if they accurately represent Apple’s upcoming releases. As WWDC 2025 approaches, expectations for major OS redesigns are high, but the final products may vary from these early mockups.
