All the latest features and updates in the One UI 7 Beta are detailed below.

Samsung announced the One UI 7 beta update this morning, which has a lot more to offer than just vertical app drawers. The update will feature significant AI integration throughout the user interface, making interactions feel more natural and intuitive. Some of the new features include upgraded Writing Assist Tools for summarizing content, checking spelling/grammar, and formatting notes, as well as automated call transcripts supporting 20 languages.

A new Now Bar on the lockscreen provides quick access to relevant activities like Interpreter, Music, and Stopwatch. Customization options have been enhanced with a redesigned home screen, widgets, and lock screen, giving users granular control over their device. The Camera UX has also been updated for easier access to features and a cleaner preview of photos and videos.

One UI 7 is set to be released to the public in Q1 of 2025, and users with a Galaxy S24 device can participate in the beta testing. If you’re in the market for a new phone, now is a good time to consider a Galaxy S24.
