For those unfamiliar, Xiaomi first teamed up with Qualcomm in 2011, coinciding with the launch of its Mi 1. For the past decade, every flagship Xiaomi device has featured a premium Qualcomm chipset, including the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, which was among the first devices to introduce the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. This trend will continue for the next 15 years.
Xiaomi has leveraged Qualcomm platforms, including the Snapdragon Cockpit platform for its SU7 — the company’s first vehicle launched in 2023. This vehicle also incorporates Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Auto 5G Modem-RF solution for enhanced processing and accurate positioning.
Moreover, Xiaomi’s smart home devices have started utilizing the chipset maker’s Wi-Fi solutions, aligning with the latest Wi-Fi standards. Devices like the Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro are powered by Snapdragon S7 and S7 Plus Gen 1 sound platforms, while the Watch 2 Pro features the Snapdragon W5 Plus Gen 1 wearable platform.
