The upcoming Nothing Phone (2a) is set to be released in a larger, plus size version.

Nothing has announced a new phone to be unveiled at the end of the month. The London-based company has revealed that a Nothing Phone (2a) Plus is in the works.

No further details have been provided, with the only information being that the phone will be showcased on July 31 at 5AM ET (2AM PT). It has been described as an “extraordinary new smartphone.”

As for the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, not much is known. The addition of “Plus” to the name suggests a larger version of the previous Nothing Phone (2a), which was released earlier this year as a budget phone. The previous version did not launch in the US, and it remains unclear if this new version will either.

The Nothing Phone (2a) was only available in the US through their “Developer Program,” which meant the phone didn’t fully function on US wireless networks. This should serve as a warning for potential buyers. Even developers may not find much use for it.

Mark your calendars for July 31 to see the Nothing Phone (2a) Plus. Will it be available in the US? Only time will tell.
