T-Mobile continues to dominate the US wireless space, according to the latest report from Ookla. In a 1H 2024 report, Ookla found that T-Mobile outperformed Verizon and AT&T in almost every key area. T-Mobile secured the top spot in categories like Fastest Mobile Network, Fastest 5G Network, Most Consistent Network, Video Experience, and Consumer Sentiment. Verizon only won in the Gaming Experience category.

In terms of speed, T-Mobile is still leagues ahead of Verizon and AT&T. T-Mobile’s overall speed score was 205Mbps, while Verizon and AT&T struggled to reach 100Mbps. In 5G speeds, T-Mobile also outpaced Verizon by a significant margin.

When it comes to network consistency, T-Mobile was able to meet or exceed 5Mbps down and 1Mbps up 86.6% of the time, compared to Verizon’s 83.3% and AT&T’s 80%. In terms of consumer sentiment, T-Mobile scored the highest rating among all US carriers.

Additionally, T-Mobile performed well in states and cities, with the best scores in 45 states and the District of Columbia. In cities, T-Mobile won in 73 out of 100 cities, while Verizon and AT&T had limited success.
