iPad Mini could be replaced by a foldable iPad

Another analyst has predicted that Apple will introduce foldable devices in 2026, suggesting that Apple has plans to launch two items that year.

Rumors have been swirling about Apple’s rumored flexible smartphone, the iPhone Fold, with speculation pointing to a 2026 release for the device. Now, an analyst has reiterated the release timeline, but also mentioned the possibility of another product being launched at the same time.

According to analyst Jeff Pu of Haitong Securities, as reported by BGR, Apple is gearing up to release foldable devices in 2026, potentially including a foldable iPad alongside the iPhone Fold in the second half of the year. Pu suggests that delays in development and release have been caused by display durability issues.

In addition to discussing the foldable devices, Pu also mentions the potential release of the iPhone 17 Slim, a thinner version of the iPhone that could replace the Plus model. This model is expected to boost sales for the 2025 lineup, in addition to advancements in Apple Intelligence technology.
