The heavily-anticipated Galaxy S24 FE is rumored to be released in October and has been seen sporting an Exynos chip.

It has been a while since Samsung released a high-end device in the US with an Exynos chipset, usually choosing Qualcomm’s Snapdragon silicon. However, recent benchmarks for the US-bound SM-S721U reveal that the Galaxy S24 FE is running on the Exynos 2400. Expected to launch in October this year, the Galaxy S24 FE is also equipped with 8GB RAM. The Exynos 2400 is the CPU powering the international models of the Galaxy S24 series. Samsung has not used an Exynos processor in a high-end US smartphone since the Galaxy S6, when Qualcomm faced overheating issues with the Snapdragon 810. It is unclear why Samsung has chosen to use the Exynos processor in the S24 FE, but it may be related to pricing. Samsung representatives may provide more information once the details are official. Are there any fans of the FE series here? It appears that the series has not gained as much popularity as expected after the success of the first device. – SamMobile
