Recently, the Pixel Watch 3 made its way through the FCC, hinting at a potential mid-August launch. Now, it seems that the Pixel 9 series is following the same path.
Six Google devices, identified as “Phone” with model numbers GGH2X (GC15S), GGX8B, GR83Y, and GZC4K (GQ57S), have appeared at the FCC. Despite some technical difficulties on the FCC site, we have managed to gather some details about these upcoming Pixel phones.
The standout feature of devices GGH2X (154 x 76 x 11.6mm) and GC15S is their extensive support for 5G bands, including 5G mmW, as well as WiFi 6E, NFC, UWB, wireless charging, and Thread support. GR83Y (152 x 72 x 9mm) offers similar connectivity but in a slightly smaller form factor.
Meanwhile, GGX8B (160 x 76 x 9mm), GZC4K (162 x 77 x 8mm), and GQ57S share similar connectivity features as the aforementioned devices. GGX8B could potentially be the Pixel 9 Pro, while GZC4K and GQ57S might belong to the Pixel 9 Pro XL category. Lastly, GR83Y, being the smallest at 152 x 72 x 9mm, is speculated to be the regular Pixel 9.
