Earlier this week, Google rolled out December updates for the Pixel 9 and Pixel 8 series devices on T-Mobile. The update included the entire series of devices, from the Pixel 9 to the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, as well as the Pixel 8, 8a, and 8 Pro. This update came a week after other Pixel devices received the latest build.
Today, Google has expanded the Pixel updates to include T-Mobile devices from the Pixel 7 series and the original Pixel Fold. This update covers the Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro, Pixel 7a, and Pixel Fold, all receiving build AP4A.241205.013.C1.
The updates for these devices should start rolling out over-the-air soon, assuming Google and T-Mobile are coordinated. Similar to the Pixel 9 and Pixel 8 updates, users quickly reported downloading the update on their phones as soon as the factory image and OTA files were released.
This December Pixel update is a substantial QPR1 update and also includes a Pixel Feature Drop. There are over 20 notable additions in this update, which you can explore further.
If you prefer not to wait for the OTA update, you can manually flash the update using the provided instructions for either flashing a factory image or an OTA .zip file.
