OnePlus is introducing its first beta update of OxygenOS 15 based on Android 15. The update is initially available for the OnePlus 12 and will gradually expand to other devices in the upcoming months.
The focus of this release is on enhancing speed and smoothness, reducing bloatware, updating UI design elements, and incorporating AI features. OxygenOS 15 aims to deliver a faster and smoother user experience with the implementation of Parallel Processing technology.
Additionally, the update reduces system storage by 20%, providing users with extra storage space. There are also design refreshes to improve the overall UI experience, including new charging and unlocking effects, redesigned icons, and features like the Open Canvas for multitasking.
The update also includes various AI features such as AI Detail Boost, AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, Intelligent Search, Circle to Search, AI Notes, and integration with Google’s Gemini in the OnePlus 13.
OnePlus is also introducing the O+Connect app for easy file sharing between OnePlus devices and iPhones. OxygenOS 15 will enter open beta on October 30.
