The Android 15 QPR2 Beta release is just around the corner.

Despite the recent news of Android 16 shipping earlier than expected, Google is gearing up for the launch of other Android 15 builds. While many have been testing Android 15 QPR1 for some time now, Google has announced that Android 15 QPR2 is on the horizon.

In a post on the Android_Beta subreddit, the Android team stated that the Android 15 March Quarterly Platform Release (QPR2) beta program will begin soon. This indicates that the QPR1 beta program is nearing completion and will be stable by December.

The specific features of the QPR2 update are still unknown, but it is expected to include bug fixes and enhancements. It will be available to Pixel owners in March 2025 after undergoing beta testing. The current Android 15 QPR1 beta program is currently on Beta 3.

Those currently enrolled in the Android 15 QPR1 beta program will need to make a decision regarding opting out to receive the stable version of QPR1. If you wish to leave the Android Beta Program, you can do so by opting out here. However, be aware that downgrading your OS may result in a factory reset, so it’s best to ignore any update prompts and wait for the stable release in December.

For those who wish to continue receiving QPR2 beta updates, simply remain in the program and you will receive the QPR2 Beta 1 when it is released by Google.
