Google has released Android 15 Beta 4 according to schedule. This update is the 4th beta for the upcoming version of Android, which reached “Platform Stability” in Beta 3. The focus now is on preparing apps for the final release to ensure compatibility. Beta 4 fixes bugs from previous updates and finalizes app-facing behaviors.
There are not many new features in Beta 4 as the platform stability was achieved in Beta 3. The updates are mainly about bug fixes and optimizations. Major changes are not expected, but Pixel Feature Drops may bring them along with the public release of Android 15.
To get Android 15 Beta 4 on your Pixel device, enroll in the Android Beta Program for an over-the-air update. The factory images and OTA files are also available for manual update. The build number for Beta 4 is AP31.240617.009.
