Samsung tests Android 4.4.3 (KitKat) on Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S4

Even though the latest version of Android 4.4.3, popularly called KitKat may still be a ways off the shelf, Samsung is already working extremely hard to integrate it into its Galaxy lineup.

If the recent leaked internal update status report is to believed, it appears that the Galaxy S5 and S4 flagships are in the process of being integrated with the new Firmware. However, other midrange and budget Samsung models like the Galaxy S3 LTE and Galaxy S4 mini are just about ready for prime time. Some devices could skip the Android 4.4.2 update altogether and get 4.4.3 directly.

This present update is only beinbg currently iontegrated with Samsung’s own Software and features, this is because Google’s own services and apps won’t be available until it rolls out officially – something that will likely not be available until after Google’s I/O conference this coming June.
