Samsung has also rolled out updates for the Galaxy S23 and Galaxy S24 series at the start of the new month, following in Google’s footsteps. These August updates primarily consist of security patches, with no major new features added. Samsung is currently working on One UI 7 with Android 15, but in the meantime, users can expect bug fixes. Additionally, a One UI 6.1.1 update is expected to be released soon.

For the Galaxy S24 series, look out for builds S928USQS3AXFJ (S24 Ultra), S926USQS3AXFJ (S24+), and S921USQS3AXFJ (S24). For the Galaxy S23 series, builds S918USQS4CXG8 (S23 Ultra), S916USQS4CXG8 (S23+), and S911USQS4CXG8 (S23) are available.

Verizon notes that the update provides the latest Android security patches, while Samsung mentions improved security for the devices. To check for updates, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.
