As the year comes to a close, Samsung is teaming up with two year-end gaming award ceremonies.
In a press release, Samsung revealed its collaboration with The Mobies (Mobile Gaming Awards) and the Esports Awards presented by Lexus. The company will be part of the opening ceremonies on November 19 and November 21, respectively.
However, Samsung Galaxy’s involvement in these ceremonies goes beyond just recognizing excellence. The Korean OEM will host the “Samsung Galaxy Battles,” a dedicated gaming tournament at the Esports Awards. This tournament will feature top esports players competing in PUBG Mobile on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
Following the main Esports Awards ceremony on November 21 at 9 pm PT, four teams of three players will compete in the tournament.
Viewers can watch the action on Samsung’s social media platforms or the main Esports Awards stream. Both organizations are offering prizes during the tournament, including the chance to win Galaxy Buds 3 Pro.
The gaming festivities wrap up on November 22 with the 4th Annual Esports Awards Open, presented by the Golf & Gaming Club. This event will be a celebrity pro-am golf tournament. Samsung’s involvement includes sponsoring a hole with interactive elements blending sports and technology.
With everything set to begin on November 19, Samsung is the Official Mobile Partner and Title Sponsor for The Mobies. Additionally, the company will present the “Mobile Streamer of the Year” award during the ceremony. Samsung also holds the title of “Official Mobile Partner” of the Esports Awards.

The upcoming PUBG Mobile tournament on the Galaxy Z Fold 6 promises excitement. Despite not being marketed as a gaming phone, the Fold 6 is equipped to handle the intense demands of competitive battle royale gaming with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC for Galaxy, offering speed and performance for gaming and multitasking.
Michael Ashford, CEO of the Esports Awards, commented, “Samsung Galaxy devices are known for their performance, something that is highly sought after by a number of our finalists in the Esports Awards and the Mobies. We are proud to welcome them as the Official Mobile Partner and Title Sponsor and to have them integrated into our ceremonies and PWR UP Week.”
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 builds on the success of its predecessor, with subtle design improvements and advanced software features. Users can enjoy a seamless experience with minimal fold crease and access to Samsung’s Galaxy AI software for everyday tasks.
