Paralympians Share a New View of their Medal-Winning Moments With the Victory Selfie — Powered by the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition – Samsung Global Newsroom

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games marked a new chapter for the medal ceremony with the first-ever Victory Selfie. Olympians were able to come together with their fellow medalists and, through their own lens, capture the life-changing moment when they received their medals on the podium with the Galaxy Z Flip6 Olympic Edition.

In collaboration with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) — and continuing the spirit of Paris 2024’s “Games Wide Open” slogan — Samsung Electronics has launched the Victory Selfie for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

To ensure the best experience for athletes, the Victory Selfie took place in the mixed zone after the official medal ceremony, at select competitions including Para Taekwondo, Para Athletics, Wheelchair Fencing and more.

Paralympians from around the world came together to once again celebrate the camaraderie behind the competition and captured a moment they will never forget with Galaxy. The selfies were automatically uploaded to the Athlete365 app, where Paralympians could download the pictures and share the moments with family, friends and fans worldwide.
