Rather very silently I will say, Airtel has made some modification to its One Sim Package. I was lucky to be among the selec few who received an SMS telling me that I can now call 2 airtel numbers for 1k/sec for the first 10 minutes, after which the tarrif reverts to 10k/Sec. The made it sound like another plan but the activation code is the same as the Old one sim.
This means bye bye to long cheap calls to that special person, you can still make long durations call to him/her but it wont be as cheap as it was. I personally got an Airtel Sim just to enjoy the old offer and now I’m not so sure of what to do with the SIM card. I guess 6 Naira/Minute is not so bad after all.
I’m in the search for another deal right now.
