All MTN customers can refer any identified subscribers who have not upgraded to 4G.

How to refer

You can refer a friend by dialing a USSD, SMS or via MyMTNAPP.

1. USSD: *131*2*Referred Phone number#
2. SMS: REF (space) Referred Phone number (space) 2 to 131 E.g. SMS (REF 0803******* 2 to 131).
3. MyMTN App through the following steps;

1. Open MyMTN App
2. Click on the “Invite & Get Free Data” Tab
3. Click on the “Refer 4G Upgrade” Tab
4. Enter the number(s) you want to refer
5. Click on “Send Invite”
