Data Rollover: Now you can rollover your unused internet data to the next month subscription. All you have to do is ensure that you auto-renew your data subscription before it expires and your unused data is automatically moved to the next month.
Note that data rollover feature is only applicable to monthly plans.

Share data with MTN’s Data Gifting.

MTN Data Gifting service allows you to transfer data from your active data balance to your friends, buy data for friends, and request data from your friends. In essence, you can use the service to send and buy data bundles for your other smart phones, modems and tablets.

All customers on the MTN network can access the Data Gifting service.

How to Share Data on MTN Data Gifting

You can access the service by dialing *131*7# on your phone, visiting myMTN App, sending SMS keyword, or dialing direct short codes for the respective options:

• Transfer from Data Balance: simply dial *131*Phone number* Data amount# or, text Transfer<space>Phone number<space>Data amount and to 131.
• Buy for a Friend: simply dial *131*Bundle Activation Code*Beneficiary’s Phone number#
• Request from a Friend: simply dial *131*7*3#
• View Pending Request: simply dial *131*7*4#

Auto-Renewal:
This allows you to enjoy un-interrupted data access on your phone or tablet. Your active data bundle will be automatically renewed at the end of the validity period. In case you exhaust your data bundle before the validity date, you will receive a notification advising you to activate a new data plan or continue at pay as you go rate (5k/sec). You will need to have the required credit on your phone before automatic renewal can work.
