Samsung has maintained consistent launch colors for its Galaxy phones in recent generations. They often introduce online-exclusive colors in specific regions and may add a new color around six months post-launch. For example, the Galaxy S24 Ultra received a new color, Titanium Yellow. The strategy may be similar for the Galaxy S25 Ultra, expected to launch early next year.
According to Young, the Galaxy S25 will offer Moon Night Blue, Silver Shadow, Sparking Blue, and Sparkling Green. The S25 Plus variant will include an additional Midnight Black color alongside the S25 options.
If you were hoping for a unique color like the recent Pink shade in the Pixel 9 series, you might have to wait, at least initially. Just like the Titanium Yellow addition for the Ultra this year, a Titanium Pink option could be anticipated later next year.
In addition to the color options, Young also shared insights on the display of the Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung is sticking with the M13 OLED panel from the Galaxy S24 Ultra, known for delivering high-quality visuals.
Young mentioned that cost is a factor in retaining the M13 panel, as upgrading to the M14 would mean higher prices for consumers. Interestingly, Apple’s iPhone 16 Pro is slated to use the M14 panel, known to be 30% more efficient and offer a 10-20% longer lifespan.
