It seems that Spotify is the next platform to introduce a Gemini extension.

Gemini has the potential to become a powerful assistant tool in the future, similar to Google Assistant, but it currently lacks features as Google is gradually adding them. This cautious approach may be the safer choice in a world saturated with AI.

To address some of Gemini’s limitations in non-Google music spaces, Spotify is set to receive Extension support next. A new Google Support page provides instructions on linking Spotify to Gemini, allowing users to play or search for music on Spotify through Gemini.

However, it’s worth noting that the Spotify extension for Gemini is currently only available on Android, not on Google Messages, the web app, or iPhone.

To connect Spotify to Gemini, users can follow the official instructions provided by Google, or access Spotify through Gemini’s settings and toggle it on. The feature may not be immediately available in all regions.

If you come across the Spotify integration going live, please share the news as it is not yet live for us.
