In the latest iOS 18.2 update, Apple News+ introduces Sudoku to its puzzle collection.

Apple has introduced sudoku to its range of puzzles in Apple News+, providing subscribers with a new way to challenge their minds daily. The collection of puzzles available to subscribers in the United States and Canada is updated daily, and the latest addition of sudoku was discovered in the first developer beta of iOS 18.2. Sudoku is a popular numbers-based logic puzzle found in newspapers worldwide, requiring players to fill a nine-by-nine grid with digits 1 to 9 in each horizontal and vertical line, as well as in each three-by-three box. The News app version of sudoku offers puzzles in three difficulty levels and tracks users’ success rates. To access sudoku and other puzzles like Quartiles, Crossword, and Crossword mini, users can navigate to the Puzzles section in the News app under Following. Note that sudoku is currently exclusive to U.S. and Canada-based Apple News+ subscribers on devices running iOS 18.2, such as the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 16 models.
