Images of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold have been released ahead of its official launch.

Google has recently uploaded both the factory image and OTA files for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold for those who have pre-ordered the device. The pre-orders are expected to arrive around September 4, so these file uploads come right on time.

Just like with the other Pixel 9 series phones, these images are provided to assist developers or tinkerers who may need them for testing purposes. The images posted by Google are for the “comet” codename, which is confirmed to be the Pixel 9 Pro Fold.

These images are based on Android 14, as Android 15 has not been released yet. Despite some criticism about Google launching phones without the latest version of Android, it is simply because Android 15 is not yet available.

The current builds for the Pixel 9 Pro Fold are as follows:
– Global (older): AD1A.240530.030, Aug 2024
– India only: AD1A.240530.030.A1, Aug 2024
– Global (newest): AD1A.240530.047, Aug 2024

Excitement is building up for the arrival of the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, with many eagerly anticipating their Obsidian version to arrive next week.
