I made the decision to go with the Galaxy S25 Ultra this year.

Whenever Samsung releases a new Galaxy S model, I usually upgrade my small-sized phone to the latest version of the smallest model available. This time around, I’m switching things up by opting for the Ultra model for the first time in years.

As a loyal follower of the site, you know that I prefer smaller phones over larger ones. I have always advocated for more choices in the market, which is why I appreciate Google’s release of the Pixel 9 Pro this year.

Unlike other phone manufacturers, Samsung has never offered multiple sizes for its flagship phone. The Galaxy S25 Ultra marks a change in my typical avoidance of Ultra devices due to their large size. The rounded corners and unique color options of the Galaxy S25 Ultra piqued my interest enough to give it a try.

I decided to pre-order the Galaxy S25 Ultra and took advantage of some great deals. Samsung offered me a $600 trade-in credit for my old Galaxy S24 and a free storage upgrade to 512GB. Additionally, I received a pair of Galaxy Buds Pro 3 for free through a promotional offer.

I selected the Galaxy S25 Ultra in Titanium Jetblack, a sleek all-black model that stands out among Samsung’s exclusive color options. I’m looking forward to exploring this new device and hope it proves to be the right choice for me.
