Just about two months have passed since Samsung introduced the Galaxy Chromebook Plus. Despite its short time on the market, you can now save up to $600 on one of the top Chromebooks available.
Samsung, like many other retailers, started its Black Friday sales early and surprisingly included the Galaxy Chromebook Plus. While the retail price is $699, it has already been discounted by $100. Additionally, if you have an old device to trade in, Samsung offers an additional $500 off, bringing the price of the Galaxy Chromebook Plus down to just $99.

The standout feature of the Galaxy Chromebook Plus is that it is the thinnest and lightest Chromebook Plus model currently available. It measures just 11.8mm thin, slightly thicker than the Pixel 9 Pro Fold or Galaxy Z Fold 6 when folded.
Upon opening the lid, you’re greeted with a stunning 15.6-inch AMOLED display with a 1920 x 1080 resolution. It is also powered by the Intel Core 3 100U SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Another standout feature is that this is the first Chromebook to come with the new Quick Insert key. This key replaces the “Everything” key found on other Chromebooks, making it easy to access files or interact with Gemini without switching apps or Chrome tabs.
If there’s any downside to the Galaxy Chromebook Plus, it’s that there are no other configuration options available. So if you want more RAM or storage, you’re out of luck. However, this doesn’t detract from the overall experience.
