On Thursday, December 12, His Majesty King Charles III visited Apple’s Battersea office in London, engaging with Apple employees, members of the British creative community, and students who have acquired essential skills, such as coding, through educational initiatives supported by Apple and the U.K.-based nonprofit The King’s Trust.
Employees from across the nation warmly welcomed His Majesty to the historic Battersea Power Station, which has served as Apple’s U.K. headquarters since 2023. To commemorate the occasion, children from nearby St. George’s Primary School created festive artwork on iPads, which was then displayed on the iconic chimneys of the power station. Apple CEO Tim Cook joined King Charles in welcoming the local community to a special holiday concert featuring the award-winning British artist RAYE.
“It was an honor to host His Majesty King Charles at Apple Battersea — our home in the U.K. — and we take great pride in supporting The King’s Trust in its important mission to educate and uplift young individuals,” said Cook. “We eagerly anticipate our continued growth in this region, building on over 40 years of history in the United Kingdom.”
