Google Photos has recently introduced a new feature called “Collections”, which will replace the existing “Library” tab.

Google Photos is making a semi-big change in the near future – the Library tab is being replaced with a new section called Collections. This change is aimed at making it easier for users to find their content, including shared albums, organized items, and automatically assembled items like documents or places. The new Collections tab will also include options for finding shared albums, Favorites, Trash, and dynamic tiles that rotate based on your most visited items. People & Pets, Places, and Documents have also been moved into Collections, while the Utilities folder has been removed. This change will be rolling out to Android and iOS users over the next few weeks.
