Google has addressed four bugs in the latest August update for Pixel devices.



Google has released a minor update for Pixel devices in August, addressing various bugs. The update focuses on fixing boot looping issues, brightness flickering, and improving display performance.

The update specifically targets the Pixel 8 Pro and Pixel 8 for fixing screen brightness flickering and general display improvements. Additionally, the Pixel 6 series saw a fix for a boot looping bug, and all Pixel devices can now switch between users with or without screen locks.

The update includes the following fixes:
– Display & Graphics
– Fix for brightness flickering issue under certain conditions
– General improvements for display performance and stability
– System
– Fix for devices getting stuck in a reboot loop after factory reset
– User Interface
– Fix for stability issues when switching between users with and without screen locks

The update is set to roll out gradually over the next week.
