Gemini Live is now rolling out to Gemini Advanced subscribers on Android devices.

During the Pixel 9 event, Google showcased the impressive Gemini Live feature, which allows for natural conversations with AI that can almost seem like talking to another person. The rollout of Gemini Live was not limited to just the new Pixel phones, as Google made it available to anyone subscribed to Gemini Advanced with an Android phone.

Users on the Gemini/Bard subreddit have reported gaining access to Gemini Live on various devices, including Google Pixel, Samsung, Xiaomi, and Poco Phone models. To access Gemini Live, one must be a Gemini Advanced subscriber. While Pixel 9 Pro buyers receive a free one-year subscription, others can subscribe to Gemini Advanced to gain immediate access.

Gemini Live aims to enhance interactions with AI by enabling more natural conversations compared to typical virtual assistant interactions. According to Google, Gemini Live allows for real-time, spoken responses during brainstorming sessions, in-depth discussions, and practice for important moments.

To get access to Gemini Live, users can update their Gemini app to the latest version and then force stop the app to make the feature visible. Those interested in subscribing to Gemini Advanced can do so by following the provided link.
