Gboard’s switch to rounded keys is receiving mixed reviews from users.

Google has updated Gboard with a new Voice Toolbar for voice-typing enthusiasts, but they have also changed the design of the keyboard, switching from square keys to a more rounded design. Some users are not happy about this change, with reactions ranging from “completely ugly” to “I hate it.” Despite the negative feedback, the typing experience remains the same.

The Google Pixel subreddit is buzzing with discussions about the new design, with users noticing the shift towards round keys. Some are open to getting used to it, while others are not thrilled with the new look. The keyboard can be resized to have circular or oval keys, depending on user preference.

To mitigate the round key design, users can turn off the keyboard borders in the Gboard settings or opt for voice typing. Overall, it seems like users will adapt to the change, and maybe even benefit from some relaxation techniques like yoga.

Are you okay with the new Gboard design?
