When and where is MWC?
MWC takes place annually in Barcelona, Spain, at the Fira Barcelona Gran Via convention center.
The event usually occurs towards the end of February, but this year MWC 2025 is scheduled for March 3 to March 6. While some announcements happen during the event, many major reveals are expected to happen in the days leading up to MWC.

Given the size of this trade show, we expect to see numerous companies vying for attention from attendees. With over 2,700 exhibitors at MWC 2024, it’s clear how significant this event is. Google typically avoids major announcements at MWC but is expected to have a significant presence at the event. We anticipate smaller announcements from Google throughout the event, providing attendees with the opportunity to try out its products and software.
Honor
Honor recently introduced the Magic 7 Pro, featuring an exceptional camera. The company has teased its MWC launch event for March 2, where it will unveil its Alpha Plan focusing on the latest AI innovations. Honor plans to enhance iOS cross-platform compatibility and may reveal more about that at MWC.
Motorola
Motorola impressed us last year with its unique concept devices. While we haven’t seen new hardware concepts lately, we are eager to learn more about the Large Action Model showcased at Lenovo World 2024.
Nothing
Nothing has been generating excitement with its upcoming launch. The Nothing Phone 3a series is set to be unveiled at MWC, featuring a distinctive design and impressive camera setup. The phone will also be equipped with a Snapdragon chipset.

Samsung
While Samsung might not make major announcements at MWC, the company displayed various concept devices at last year’s event. We anticipate seeing more concept devices this year and hope for updates on the Galaxy S25 Edge or Project Moohan teased earlier this year.
TCL
TCL showcased the TCL 60 XE NXTPAPER 5G at CES 2025, and we are eager to hear more about its latest phones at MWC 2025.
