Google has announced that new apps are coming to cars with Android Automotive, the infotainment system used in vehicles from Volvo, Polestar, and other manufacturers. The apps are part of a program introduced by Google last year to bring more software to the car experience.
While Google did not provide a list of the new apps and games, they did mention that there will be “dozens” available. They shared a Google Play link that filters the store by all “car compatible apps.” Some apps highlighted include F1 TV, Farm Heroes Saga, Chess Online, and Kids Puzzles.
Initially, the new apps and games will be available on select Polestar and Volvo cars, with more makes and models expected to receive the update soon.
