Check out these stunning camera samples from the Galaxy S25 Ultra, showcasing another year of high-quality photo taking.

After attending Samsung’s Unpacked event last week, we received our review unit of the Galaxy S25 Ultra and wasted no time in putting it to the test.

One of the standout features of the phone is its camera system, which now includes an upgraded 50-megapixel ultra-wide sensor on the back. This is a significant improvement from the previous year’s 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The device boasts a total of four sensors on the back: a 200MP wide-angle, 50MP ultra-wide, 50MP telephoto (with 5x and 10x optical zoom), and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom.

Samsung also highlighted the improved Nightography capabilities of the Galaxy S25 series, thanks to a new Spatio-Temporal Filter. This feature allows the phone to distinguish between moving and static objects in low-light conditions, resulting in better noise reduction for low-light situations such as shooting videos under the stars with a foreground subject next to a campfire.

Furthermore, the device utilizes on-device AI for Audio Eraser, which can identify and filter out unwanted noise in video recordings, making it ideal for capturing concert videos, sports events, and more. This feature was showcased during Samsung’s event and received positive feedback.

Having tested the camera extensively for nearly a week, I can attest to its enjoyable user experience. While the sample shots have been resized and compressed due to gallery software limitations, no other edits have been made.

Keep an eye out for our comprehensive review (complete with more photos) of the Galaxy S25 Ultra in the coming days. Spoiler alert: I have yet to find any faults with it.
