Beta invites for T-Mobile’s Starlink service are now being sent out to both Android and iOS devices.

T-Mobile and Starlink have joined forces to introduce T-Mobile Starlink, a satellite internet service that aims to provide a data connection to T-Mobile phones in remote areas. A beta program was announced for sign-up with plans to launch in early 2025, but T-Mobile is already inviting users to try out the service.

Users have reported receiving text messages inviting them to set up T-Mobile Starlink, regardless of whether they own an iPhone or Android device. Samsung phone owners may notice a new setting called “Satellite Networks” under Settings, while iPhone users can find the setting under Settings > Cellular.

The goal of T-Mobile Starlink is to allow users to send SMS or text messages over Starlink satellites in areas without traditional data connections. The service aims to eventually offer calling and data connections for a complete remote internet experience.

If you’re interested, you can sign up for the T-Mobile Starlink beta program and hope to receive an invite.
