Belkin on Thursday announced a new pair of Bluetooth wireless earbuds as part of its expanding audio accessories lineup.
The Soundform True Wireless Earbuds are true wireless headphones that connect to devices with “one-step” Bluetooth pairing. They also feature touch-based controls for volume, playback and call handling, and an IPX5 rating for sweat- and splash-resistance.
Like other wireless earbuds on the market, the Soundform’s charging case can provide up to 24 hours of playtime. On a single charge, the headphones themselves are rated to deliver up to five hours of nonstop playback.
The device marks Belkin’s first entry into the wireless headphones market. Past audio accessories released by the manufacturer include the Soundform wireless charging stand and speaker hybrid, which it unveiled at CES earlier in 2020.
A cheaper alternative to Apple’s own AirPods, the Belkin Soundform earbuds retail for $59.99. They’re available from Amazon and are listed as coming soon on Belkin’s website.
