Attention Pixel Owners, the Android 15 QPR1 Beta is on its way!

Google has recently released the final beta patch for Android 15 and introduced a new beta program called Quarterly Platform Release (QPR) starting with QPR1 in December. Testers will have early access to features that the general public won’t see for a few months.

Google made the announcement on its Android Beta subreddit, thanking users for their contributions in shaping the Android 15 release. The QPR1 Beta 1 will soon be available to testers who are currently on Android 15 Beta 4.2 without requiring any action on their part.

For those interested in joining the beta program, they can sign up to receive the latest updates and bug fixes. It is important to note that opting out of the beta program after installation will result in a data wipe, with the next opportunity to exit the program without a wipe scheduled for December 2024.

Stay tuned for more updates on QPR’s progress, as these updates typically include significant bug fixes and new features. Are you signing up for the beta program?
