Fans of Apple HomeKit-compatible products are likely familiar with Level Lock and its smart locks. ASSA ABLOY, known for access points in workplaces and hotels, has taken over Level Lock but will maintain it as a separate subsidiary. The new entity, Ambient Property Technologies, will focus on delivering advanced platforms to multifamily customers. President and CEO of ASSA ABLOY, Nico Delvaux, is excited about the acquisition and sees it as a valuable addition to the group. Level Lock’s smart locks, such as the Level Lock+, offer high-tech features like Apple Home Key support and have received top scores. Existing Level Lock customers should not experience any disruptions in service as a result of the acquisition.
