Dan Rosckes, Apple’s global head of procurement, is set to retire after 24 years at the company.
Dan Rosckes, the Vice President of Global Sourcing and Supply Management at Apple, is retiring after more than two decades at the company.
Rosckes, who has spent 24 years at Apple, oversaw the hardware procurement group since 2022. His responsibilities included negotiating deals with suppliers and acquiring hardware components for Apple’s products, highlighting the significance of his role within the company.
Apple places large orders for a variety of components every year. The hardware procurement team at Apple is responsible for sourcing these components and securing agreements with suppliers to ensure profitability for Apple and timely delivery of new hardware.
As reported by Bloomberg on Monday, Dan Rosckes will be succeeded by his long-time deputy, David Tom, who joined Apple in 2003 and led the procurement of batteries, silicon, and wireless components for the company.

In August 2024, it was announced that Apple’s Chief Financial Officer Luca Maestri, who has been with the company for over a decade, would step down from his role and be succeeded by Kevan Parekh, the VP of Financial Planning and Analysis, starting January 1, 2025.
Maestri will take on a new role leading the Corporate Service teams at Apple and will report directly to CEO Tim Cook. Several executives and key employees departed from Apple in 2023, including Peter Stern, Apple’s former Services VP.
