Apple to hold another Entrepreneur Camp for female founders, developers

Apple on Monday opened applications for an online Entrepreneur Camp for female App Store founders and developers slated for July.

The Entrepreneur Camp will run from July 20 to July 29. Applications, which close on March 26, are open to female CEOs, founders and co-founders, or developers. Applicants must have proficiency in Swift or Object-C and a functional app to demonstrate.

As with Apple’s past Entrepreneur events, the company says attendees will get code-level guidance, mentorship, and “unprecedented access” to Apple engineers and leaders.

“Apple Entrepreneur Camp supports underrepresented founders and developers as they build the next generation of cutting-edge apps and helps form a global network that encourages the pipeline and longevity of these entrepreneurs in technology,” the company says of the program.

This marks the second Entrepreneur Camp Apple has announced for 2021. The Cupertino firm is holding a similar event for black founders and developers from Feb. 16 to Feb. 25, 2021.
