Apple Sports Introduces Tennis Just in Time for Wimbledon
The app now features a customized home experience for fans.
Apple Sports, the complimentary iPhone app designed for sports enthusiasts, has recently expanded its offerings to include tennis, right before Wimbledon.
Tennis aficionados can now view live scores for all Grand Slam® and 1000-level tournaments, tracking every point in both men’s and women’s singles matches starting with Wimbledon. Users will receive rapid updates on players’ progress throughout the tournament, alongside results from every match from the opening rounds to the finals. This allows fans to keep up with the entire tournament and season.
Thanks to Live Activities, Apple Sports provides real-time updates directly to users’ iPhone Lock Screens and Apple Watches.1 Game Card Sharing allows fans to express their enthusiasm about any matchup across all supported leagues.
Additionally, Apple Sports has unveiled a new home experience, simplifying the process for fans to personalize and follow their favorite teams and leagues. Events and matchups are now organized by league, with intuitive controls enabling fans to prioritize their preferred leagues. Favorite teams are prominently displayed at the top, offering instant access to the scores and updates they care about most.
