Apple Music Launches Kendrick Lamar’s Road to Halftime Ahead of Super Bowl LIX

Join us for the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show press conference featuring "The Official Kendrick Lamar Interview" on February 6 at 10 a.m. CT, exclusively on Apple Music.

CUPERTINO, CALIFORNIA – Apple Music is kicking off Kendrick Lamar’s Road to Halftime, highlighting the trailblazing artist who has significantly influenced hip-hop and popular culture.

Following a stellar year, Kendrick secured his place as one of the top 10 global artists of 2024. His recent album, GNX, reached No. 1 in 129 countries at launch, while “Not Like Us” became Apple Music’s most-streamed song worldwide. Over the course of his career, Kendrick has achieved nine albums that topped the Apple Music charts in more than 160 countries.

Fans can gear up for the event with an array of music and exclusive content, including a sneak peek trailer Kendrick shared last month, curated playlists from New Orleans musicians and NFL players, and over 100 hours of dedicated Apple Music Radio programming, all leading up to the much-anticipated Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show on Sunday, February 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Mark your calendars for February 6 at 10 a.m. CT when Apple Music Radio hosts Ebro Darden and Nadeska Alexis will interview Kendrick at the Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show press conference. The event will be broadcast live and available on-demand on platforms such as Apple Music at apple.co/_SBLIX, YouTube, Facebook, X, and the NFL Network.

100 Hours of Programming on Apple Music Radio

Apple Music Radio will immerse itself in the Super Bowl atmosphere with a four-day event starting February 6 in New Orleans and Los Angeles. Highlights include daily broadcasts titled “Live from Super Bowl LIX NOLA” featuring hosts Zane, Ebro, Nadeska, and Eddie, celebrating the local music culture while engaging with artists, athletes, and other notable figures. "Super Bowl LIX LA" broadcasts will spotlight the festivities in New Orleans while paying tribute to Kendrick’s music and roots in Los Angeles.

Tune in for “Kendrick Lamar: Hip-Hop’s MVP,” hosted by Ebro, which will showcase Kendrick’s music catalog in a chronological exploration of his career milestones.

The Saturday before the game, Apple Music will feature the New Orleans club scene with mixes from local DJs, including a special Kendrick Lamar Megamix by Mustard.
