“Music is essential for our well-being, and Apple Music Radio fosters a sense of constant availability and connection,” said Zane Lowe, Apple Music’s global creative director and lead host for Apple Music 1. “In an era dominated by AI and algorithms, Apple Music Radio is live and driven by real people, offering a shared experience. I’m thrilled to expand this offering globally with our three new stations.”
Introducing Apple Música Uno
Apple Música Uno celebrates the rich diversity of Latin music globally, focusing on contemporary sounds that are reshaping culture, including Música Mexicana, reggaetón, and Latin pop. To kick off this station, Becky G will serve as the official launch host, with Rauw Alejandro and Grupo Frontera presenting special shows. Daily programming will feature Evelyn Sicairos and Lechero, both acclaimed radio hosts passionate about music and cultural connections. Sicairos will present “La Oficial Radio,” while Lechero hosts “¡Dale Play! Radio.” Additional offerings will include “Puro Pop Radio,” along with weekend programming inspired by “Cumbia Pa’ La Fiesta” and “Por Siempre Hits.”
Bad Bunny’s latest track, “EL CLúB,” will be the first song played on Apple Música Uno, with regular segments where artists discuss their albums and inspirations. The station will feature bilingual hosting in Spanish and English.
“I’m immensely honored to have my own show on Apple Music and be the voice of Apple Música Uno, curating my favorite tracks and sharing my journey with fans,” said Becky G. “As a kid, music programs inspired me, and I hope to inspire others in a similar way through my show.”
Introducing Apple Music Club
Apple Music Club caters to lovers of dance and electronic music as well as those who cherish club culture. The station will keep the party going year-round, featuring mixes from renowned DJs across the globe. Tim Sweeney and NAINA will host, providing context for mixes that span the spectrum from festival anthems to underground beats, all of which will be accessible as DJ Mixes on Apple Music.
To launch this continuous celebration, Sweeney will spin the iconic “Big Fun” by Inner City, along with exclusive mixes from artists such as Honey Dijon, Jamie xx, FKA twigs, and Nia Archives, alongside sets from acclaimed music curators like Circoloco and Tomorrowland.
“My show consists of recordings from The Floor, a pop-up club I opened in London for ten days in May 2024,” said Jamie xx. “I invited friends and collaborators to perform alongside me, and I’m grateful to feature these sets on Apple Music.”
Introducing Apple Music Chill
Apple Music Chill offers a serene auditory escape, providing a tranquil soundscape for listeners throughout their day. This station emphasizes a continuous stream of calming highlights from various genres, enriched with moments designed to encourage mindfulness and relaxation.
Apple Music Chill will start with the exclusive debut of Beck’s rendition of George Harrison’s “Be Here Now.” The programming will also feature relaxing narratives from notable figures like Brian Eno and Zane Lowe, with Sabi from Apple Music guiding listeners throughout the week.
“Throughout my listening journey, I’ve been captivated by the quieter, more mystical side of music,” said Eno. “My radio show allows me to share some remarkable sounds from that realm with listeners.”
Apple Music Radio is easily accessible within the Apple Music ecosystem. An updated Radio tab enables listeners to discover interviews and shows hosted by artists effortlessly.
Over the last ten years, Apple Music Radio’s cutting-edge studios in cities like Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, London, Paris, and Berlin have become key destinations for both established and emerging artists to share music, announce news, and connect with fans.
